Check your grip. In order to make your grip stronger turn both your hands clockwise. To make your grip weeker turn both your hands counter clockwise. A strong grip promotes a hook and a week grip promotes a slice. Another short but sweet tip from the Golf God
Bounce angel
When soling your sand wedge the bounce angel is the angel created by the leading edge of your sand iron in relationship to the ground. The Golf Gods tip is simple the softer the sand the more bounce angel you need. In hard packed sand you are better off with no bounce so the club will dig. Watch for my video soon. Bounce on the sand wedge was invented by Gene Sarazen.
Masters Final Round
Are you kidding me? Charl Schwartzel?! I love it. With everybody watching all the players battle it out and then along comes Schwartzel; I thought it was an ad for sausages. It was a great tourney and The Golf God gives his blessings to Charl Schwartzel, the 2011 Masters champ. The great Harry Vardon said, “Let the best man win” and this year at the Masters it was CHARL SCHWARZEL. The poor media! They didn’t get the story they wanted. Tough break. Way to go Charl! The Golf God says thanks and keep tuning in for some more fun posts and videos. TGG Long, Straight and in the Hole
The Masters day 3
Well, it is Sunday at the Masters and as always it is a great tourney. Every spring when I see the first commercial for Augusta it brings a tear to my eye and it never lets me down. In my mind it is by far the best and most exciting event in sports. It appears that Kim won’t make much money, but at least he made the weekend. Garcia made a little noise but at -1 that’s all it will be. Mickelson was there for awhile but I wouldn’t count on back to back titles. Quiros crapped the bed – couldn’t handle Augusta on Saturday. My pick, Kuchar, still has an outside shot but not likely. You have to love Freddie Couples 51 and in the hunt. Look out for Tiger, but I think Rory will hold tight. If any one has a chance it could be Cabrerra. Who is your pick? Have a great Sunday at the Masters. The greatest event in the world.

The Masters
Hello everyone: Get ready for the greatest time of the year if you play golf you love the Masters. I have been privileged to walk the green and yellow grounds of golfs Emerald City. Augusta National is the most beautiful and unique golf course in the world. It fills every human sense with delight and chills me when I think of it. Enjoy the tournament and the thrill that is the Masters
TigerWoods
Tigers Woods is having a hard time with his game these days. I think his stiff shaft went bad and he replaced it with a senior flex. I’ve noticed the balls from his putter can’t seem to find the hole anymore. One thing I Know for sure is that right now he is gripping his club way too tight. Come on Tiger, if you need some help ask The Golf God. By the way I ran into Jamie Junger and she says keep it straight.
KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL
WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP MY EYE ON THE BALL?
NOT SO MUCH YOUR EYE ON THE BALL BUT KEEP YOUR CENTER OF GRAVITY (CHEST-BONE) STILL THROUGH THE SWING. PIVOT AROUND THAT CENTER,MINIMIZE FORWARD, BACKWARD AND UP AND DOWN MOTIONS. THE CLUB WILL RETURN TO IT’S ORIGINAL POSITION AT THE BASE OF THE BALL.
